About Us

TRKR follows a service delivery business model that provides rafts, inflatable kayaks, and essential gear for people who want to float down a class II/III river or row around a lake on their own.

The customer decides on a delivery location, and a TRKR representative brings the rolled-up boat and gear to the customer, who then takes the boat to the lake or river and goes boating. When the customer is finished, we pick the boat and gear up at an agreed upon location.

Eric Mordhorst is the owner and operator of Taos Raft and Kayak Rentals. He has been a raft and kayak guide on the Rio Grande and Chama Rivers for 15+ years and has 250+ Taos Box runs through the Rio Grande Gorge. He has also been an alpine skiing instructor for 17 years at Taos Ski Valley. He possesses extensive expertise in raft and kayak operation, maintenance and repair, and a thorough knowledge of Northern New Mexico’s rivers, lakes, and reservoirs.
